How a Bequest to the Australian Cord Blood Foundation will help our mission
However large or small, your bequest to the Australian Cord Blood Foundation will make a difference. It will allow Australia's largest public cord blood bank to focus their attention on enhancing curative treatments using cord blood for a range of medical conditions.
Your generous bequest will be directed (unless specified) to the most appropriate areas of cord blood research and development (including infrastructure) that require funding.
How to leave a Bequest to help the Foundation continue their Research
The Australian Cord Blood Foundation recommends you seek legal advice when preparing or revising your Will. It is a legal document that allows you to advise how you would like your assets distributed.
This can include:
- A Specific Bequest - A gift of a specific nominated asset like a house or parcel of shares or a specific amount of money.
- A Percentage - A nominated percentage of your Estate.
- A Residual - What remains of your Estate after all debts have been paid and all other gifts distributed.
Bequest Wording
(please include your bequest option here).......... and I direct that the receipt of the
Chair, Treasurer, or Secretary of such organisation shall be a full and sufficient discharge to
my trustee for the payment of such benefit.'
